The advent of grocery stores, international shipping and refrigeration has made fresh fruits easily available throughout the year. As a result, we have become removed from how fruits/flowers/vegetables have specific weeks where they taste the best. It felt grounding to re-familiarize ourselves with the seasonality of our fresh produce.
